Day 5 – Ipoh to SIN

Like a twinkle of an eye, we completed the trip and it was time to head back SIN. Of cos’ we did not forget to have a dim sum breakie, the Ipoh style. We woke up too late to find a place on the so-called best dim sum resthouse in town, so we settled for another place. The dim sum was so-so, too many fried stuff for my liking. The gang also decided to settle at the nearby coffeeshop for the Ipoh coffee before the long journey back.
Packing up
The movie marathon officially started, with Valerie’s just-bought show Borat. Disgusting show. Then followed by The Mist which got all of us frustrated and impatient. Lousy show. The last movie was Music & Lyric, which was good enough to sustain us till we hit Johor. Upon seeing the custom, all of us hopped down and rushed through the usual procedure. Unknown to the driver, forgotten by us, we left the whole stack of pirated DVDs lying in the van. Of cos’ the driver kena questioned by the officials. :p Collin: “You all very good ah, leave one heap DVDs, never keep. I have to answer to the police.” “Oops!
Back to SIN, dropping one by one off. Everyone was coming to me asking me for the next trip. Told them I will be planning something in my sleeve, but until then, wait till I complete my Taiwan trip. Staying at Tampines, we were the last one. By then, I was totally sleepy. It was already 9pm when we settled down at home.
