========================================
5 laps is not enough to compare to the East-West Highway on this coming Thursday. But nonetheless, it is still a good workout for the legs.
Everyone has finally changed the tyres to slicks. My "Snake" looks so sissy with slick smooth tyres. Much as I hate it, I have no choice since everyone else are using it, no point of me being the one on semi-slick and kill myself on the climbs. Confidence level drops 50% as I have never use such thin unsafe tyres before.
As we completed one loop to the top of Faber, different group of tourists looked at our dishevelled faces from the climb. I bet they were thinking: "What's the point? You can take a bus up instead of cycling up."
We met a friendly roadie who was also doing rounds at the hill. I guess he could double the number of laps without feeling any fatigue. Just look at how he fly! While we, erm 7km/hr uphill. :p
Can't believe that this Wednesday we are leaving. How time flies. My mind is already on the trip. No mood to work anymore. Oh yeah, here we go!
fate must have been crumbled before and after here
