========================================

The training officially begins, ouch! This time round it is a combination of hiking, trail riding and long distance cycling. Think by next month I should be very fit again. *me think fat-hope*

The first ever ride with Wenqing. Meeting at Thomson Long House again. Darn, I hate that place. Firstly the ride to there is always filled with heavy vehicle traffic. Secondly, it seems like all the shitty drivers are on that stretch of road (one kuku driver purposely dived and stopped in front of my lane to drop a passenger. WTF). Thirdly, I always get a punture everytime I headed to that direction! *again* And lastly, the eating place do not have much place to park the bikes. C'mon man, I don't like to park my bike at the one and only entrance and obstructing other customers. Sometimes, you must be considerate to those non-bikers as well. Duh! If Mich and gang are gonna meet there again, I'm not gonna ride.

Supposed to go LCK, but a last min change of plan brought us to doing rounds at Old Upper Thomson Rd and trepassing into a golf course. :p The road ride inside the golf course is worthy! Really! There ain't that much of steep rolling slopes to climb elsewhere. Well, forbidden fruits always taste nicer! :p

Hit out to Yio Chu Kang Rd and the gals wanted to go Roadalink. Well, a long time spent there and before we knew it, it was raining cats and dogs. We had to stay there and an excuse to eat chicken rice. Then there was this botak guy and his pals from that bikeshop who thought that I was constantly turning my head to glare at him that he mumbled something sarcastic. Move aside lah baldy, I'm looking at my bike behind you, rather than looking at your shiny head! -.-" God damn it, 2 unpleasant encounters at 2 different bikeshops. How screw-up can a day be? -.-"

Rain finally stopped and all of us decided not to hit down to Jalan Kayu, Wenqing followed us back to Tampines while Mich and Pek Gnee went the other way. The road back was always damn tiring as it was constant up and down until we hit Tampines. Wenqing decided to go by Ubi while LCT and I took the Old Tampines Rd. Am surprised that my legs were still in good condition after all the climbs. Was still breezing through the whole stretch which previously I always went at turtle speed of only 10-18km/hr. Haha. Good. At least we managed to cover 65km. So both LCT and I (and probably Wenqing) had achieved what we set out. Too bad for Mich and Pek Gnee. :)

i know that a new season unfolds here ... at 3:10 p.m.
fate must have been crumbled before and after here
